Why FoundrCheck

  • AI-powered analysis

Every idea is examined across the same structured dimensions.

  • Structured scoring

A 0–100 score per dimension and a single clear verdict.

  • Actionable recommendations

Concrete next steps, not a generic market summary.

  • Multi-model AI infrastructure

Redundant providers keep analyses running if one fails.

How It Works

From rough idea to a decision you can defend

Three steps. No research spreadsheets, no guesswork about where to start.

  1. Describe Your Idea

A few sentences is enough. Add your business model and target market if you know them — if you don't, that's part of what we work out.

  2. AI Analyzes the Opportunity

The idea is examined across problem intensity, market, customers, competition, monetization, differentiation, feasibility and risk.

  3. Get Your Validation Report

A scored report with a clear verdict, the assumptions behind it, and the specific steps that would confirm or kill the idea.

What We Analyze

Eight dimensions, scored the same way every time

Consistent structure is what makes two ideas comparable — and what makes a weak assumption visible.

  • Problem Intensity

How painful the problem actually is, and whether anyone is already paying to avoid it.

  • Market Opportunity

Who is in the market, how it is shaped, and where the realistic room to operate sits.

  • Target Customers

Likely primary and secondary segments, with the reasoning that puts them there.

  • Competition

Who already solves this, how they solve it, and what they leave uncovered.

  • Monetization

Pricing models that fit the buyer, and which ones would cap your revenue early.

  • Differentiation

The angle that is genuinely defensible, separated from the ones that just sound good.

  • Execution Feasibility

What building this really demands against the constraints you described.

  • Risks

The assumptions most likely to be wrong, and what happens to the idea if they are.

What you actually receive

Fourteen written sections, each one specific to the idea you submitted rather than generic market commentary.

Executive Summary

Missed and rescheduled appointments are a direct revenue loss for small clinics, and the current workaround is manual phone follow-up. The problem is concrete, recurring and already costing money, which makes it easier to sell against than a productivity nice-to-have.

Target Customer

Owner-operators of one- to three-therapist clinics who handle their own front desk. They buy software themselves, decide quickly, and care more about reducing no-shows than about feature depth.

Market Opportunity

A large, fragmented base of independent practices across the US and EU, most of them underserved by enterprise practice-management suites priced and scoped for larger groups.

Monetization Strategy

Flat per-clinic monthly subscription rather than per-seat, since clinics are small and per-seat pricing would cap revenue while adding friction to the buying conversation.

MVP Recommendation

Online booking, automated reminders, and a simple calendar view. Defer payments, insurance handling and multi-location support until retention is proven.

Key Risks

Incumbent practice-management vendors could bundle equivalent reminders at no extra cost. Regional health-data rules add compliance work before launch in some markets.

Next Validation Steps

Interview fifteen clinic owners about their current no-show rate, and test whether a paid pilot can be closed in a single conversation.

Why Validate First

The cheapest version of an idea is the one you test

Validation does not replace judgement. It gives your judgement something solid to work with.

  • Reduce wasted development

Months of building are the most expensive way to discover an idea had no buyer.

  • Identify weak assumptions

The beliefs you never questioned are named explicitly, so you can test them cheaply.

  • Understand customer fit

Find out who is most likely to pay — even when you started without a clear audience.

  • Improve monetization strategy

See which pricing models suit the buyer instead of defaulting to a per-seat guess.

  • Define a leaner MVP

A scoped first version, with the features that can safely wait pushed to later.

  • Make better go/no-go decisions

Deciding not to build something is a result too — and a far cheaper one.

FAQ

Questions worth asking before you start

What does FoundrCheck analyze?

Problem intensity, market opportunity, target customers, competition, monetization, differentiation, execution feasibility and risk. Each is scored from 0 to 100 and explained in writing, and the report separates what you told us from what the analysis inferred.

Do I need to know my target audience?

No. Identifying who is most likely to buy is part of the analysis. You can leave the target customer field blank or write that you are not sure, and the report will propose primary and secondary segments with the reasoning behind them.

How long does an analysis take?

A couple of minutes in the usual case. You submit the idea, the analysis runs, and the finished report is saved to your history where you can return to it at any time.

Is the report generated by AI?

Yes. Reports are produced by large language models against a structured analysis format, and the output is validated before it is saved. The report labels its own assumptions so you can see which conclusions rest on inference rather than on facts you supplied.

Can I analyze more than one idea?

Yes. One completed analysis uses one credit, and every report stays in your history so you can compare directions side by side. If an analysis fails to complete, the credit is returned.

Does FoundrCheck guarantee business success?

No, and any tool that claims otherwise is selling you something. FoundrCheck is a decision-support tool: it structures the evidence, names the assumptions worth testing and gives you a defensible starting point. The outcome of a business depends on execution, timing, funding and market conditions that no analysis can control or predict. Treat the report as an input to your judgement, not a substitute for it.
